Tigre

What a beautiful display of fruits and vegetables being sold from a boat.
All up and down the Parana river are old abandoned ships.

I guess anywhere you go one would see the beautiful and the not so beautiful.

La Boca

The Barrio of Boca is home to the soccer team Boca Juniors and is where Tango was first cooked up a century ago. We could all take a painting lesson here, it is a very colorful area.

Uruguay

Our grand welcome to Uruguay. We are here on a 90 day visa and must renew it by leaving the country. Uruguay is just a ferry boat ride away which takes you to the town of Colonia del Sacramento. It is a cute little sleepy town that was founded in 1680.

Finally...I have been trying to get a picture of these little guys since we got here. These Parrots are not very social birds they hide very high up in the canopy of the trees and they make so much noise. These parrots are everywhere and are fun to watch. This one on the left landed on our balcony. I was told that the guy who lived in the apartment before us bought a pair of birds and was told that the he was buying yellow, friendly, trained birds. He got them home and a few days later the yellow paint came off and they would go crazy if he went near them. So he let them go. This my be one of those same birds.
