Argentina

Today we went to the Buenos Aires Botanical Gardens. We went on a little tour of the gardens and was provided a map of a few of the trees that are native to Argentina. There were 13 trees and most were trees found in the rainforests and they were all quite beautiful trees. The first tree (our favorite, Higueuron, the second the Ombu). The Higueuron is unique in that the seeds germinate on the trunk or branches of other trees, the roots grow and strangle the trees. Here you can see were a palm tree once was.
